Care and Maintenance

  • Looking after your TECHNOMARINE

As with all quality watches, your TechnoMarine needs to be carefully looked after. Some basic recommendations can help you preserve its reliability and appearance over time:

  • Washing

You should regularly rinse your watch in clean water and soap, especially after using it in saltwater. For frequent or prolonged periods underwater, we recommend that you use a silicone, steel or gold strap. We remind you that your watch is only waterproof if the crown is pushed down and screwed.

  • Condensation

In the case of sharp changes in temperature, a light condensation may appear under the glass of your watch. This steam will disappear on its own and will not affect the functioning of your watch. If condensation persists, please consult your TecnhoMarine retailer.

  • Seals

With time, the seals of your watch can be subject to damage. We recommend that you have the water tightness of your watch checked once a year by your TechnoMarine retailer. If necessary, this can lead to replacement of the seals.

  • Glass

The glass in your watch is covered with a double anti-reflective treatment (internal and external) in order to optimise visibility. This thin sensitive layer can get damaged after a shock or bad treatment. You will be completely satisfied by this coating when it is used in normal conditions.

  • Straps

Our leather and alligator straps are made with top quality skins, specially treated to resist humidity. Being such noble and delicate materials, we advise that you limit using them in water. When looking after your leather and alligator straps, we recommend that you clean them with a dry cotton cloth and to not use any abrasive products.

It is normal for leather and alligator to lightly darken over time. These materials are exclusively sourced from farmed animals and customs certificates certify their origin.

  • Ceramic

All ceramic watches and elements at TechnoMarine are made by a process of injection at high temperature, as the method is the most qualitative and resistant for treating the ceramic.

  • Warranty

Your watch is protected by the TechnoMarine warranty for a period of two years from the date of purchase. The TechnoMarine warranty covers all material and manufacturing defects during this period. The warranty is only valid if the retailer has completed the warranty card with: date of purchase, reference number, serial number, and retailer’s name, address and phone number.
